I bet you about melted! I remember your trip to China so vividly... her little face, her tears, her hesitation... especially with the pool (my favorite pictures because it's like a little book).

Abby looks so happy compared to those pictures. It's been so fun to watch her come alive... although I know it has ripped your heart out many times.

Hugs,
APrilApril Isaacshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01531425424379282231noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1164043762250762998.post-20064789126670012842009-10-13T09:49:26.800-04:002009-10-13T09:49:26.800-04:00Sweet post! Each day is better but you are right, I am the one who is insecure. I love how you are with Abby, how you have let her choose the pace. I wish everyone who is adopting an older child could read your posts. How wonderful that Abby wants to go back to recreate those firsts with you. That must have made your heart sing!!!!
Hugs
Kathiesierrasmomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07325423303969796040noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1164043762250762998.post-30031621304548085632009-10-12T12:37:26.194-04:002009-10-12T12:37:26.194-04:00How sweet that Abby wants to re-live those first d...How sweet that Abby wants to re-live those first days she had with you. CG still talks about first meeting us at the hotel in China & playing on the playground at the Marriott in Chongqing. I know with your gentle, loving guidance Abby's heart will continue to soften.Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12850567847534772471noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1164043762250762998.post-43763844700459875602009-10-12T09:23:49.107-04:002009-10-12T09:23:49.107-04:00Sharla,

It has actually just started. I think it is the fact we are starting to get closer to going.

I honestly think we will always wonder how we are doing when it comes to the attachment process. I still wonder with Lia. I'm so glad you have been encouraged. Even if anyone read ever single attachment book out there I'd be surprised if they would be able to do it perfectly. Your doing a great job from the sounds of things.Cherihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14601340037879198869noreply@blogger.com
